Tripstillery is an experimental cocktail bar and micro-distillery in Piazza Alvar Aalto, in Milan’s Porta Nuova district. Its distinctive setting brings together cocktails, spirits made on site and indoor and outdoor spaces beneath Torre Solaria.
For a venue set above street level, helping people understand where the entrance is and what they will find inside matters. Our new Google Street View virtual tour lets prospective visitors explore the entrance, terrace, bar and distillery before they arrive.

A cocktail bar and distillery in Porta Nuova
Tripstillery describes itself as an experimental cocktail bar, with a micro-distillery where visitors can discover how spirits are made and create a personalised distillate. The stills and equipment are part of the venue itself, giving the space a character that a menu or exterior photograph alone can’t fully convey. Read Tripstillery’s venue description.
The tour moves from the outdoor terrace into the colourful interior and through to the distillery area at the back. Visitors can look around at their own pace and get a clearer sense of the atmosphere, layout and seating before choosing where to meet.
Finding Tripstillery above street level
Tripstillery is at Piazza Alvar Aalto, within the elevated pedestrian spaces of Porta Nuova. Piazza Alvar Aalto connects with Piazza Gae Aulenti by a raised pedestrian route. On a conventional street map, the venue can appear to be at street level, so visitors unfamiliar with the area may not immediately see how to approach it.
The surrounding district brings together offices, shops, restaurants, public spaces and the gardens of BAM (Biblioteca degli Alberi Milano). Piazza Gae Aulenti, the shops and cafés of Porta Nuova, and Porta Garibaldi station are all part of this connected area. The pedestrian routes link its squares and buildings above the surrounding streets. Explore Porta Nuova and Corso Como with YesMilano.
For people meeting after work, visiting the area for shopping or exploring Milan, the tour provides a useful preview of the venue and its entrance. It can also be shared with colleagues or friends planning a coffee, drinks or a special gathering, so everyone can see the setting before deciding.
A one-hour capture, live in five working days
We photographed Tripstillery in about one hour, capturing its terrace, interior and distillery. The finished virtual tour was published to Google Maps and Street View within five working days.
A virtual tour gives people a way to look around the actual venue: its layout, entrance, seating and atmosphere. For a location that sits on an elevated pedestrian level, that view can help visitors orient themselves before they set out.
